Our villa, surrounded by mountains, is situated on the outskirts of the village of Las Casicas. The village is approximately 35 kilometres from the bustling city of Murcia and about 5 kilometres from Fortuna. Fortuna is one of the most famous spa towns in Spain and the baths are only a short drive from the villa.

The villa is simply but tastefully furnished, has air conditioning with heater and has a traditional open stone fireplace for those early spring or autumn evenings.

Families with children are welcome but we regret that we cannot accept pets. Nor, at the present time, do we have disabled access.
A hire car is essential as the villa is situated in the mountain area of
the Sierra de la Pita. This is approximately 80 km from Alicante Airport, but the route to the villa is easily followed.

There are several restaurants in the vicinity of the villa, and a local village Bar where you can get
food. There are many other places to eat out in the area, some from as little as 7 Euros per head. Want something more exotic? Murcia offers a wide variety of different cuisines, to suit all pockets. There are five golf courses within easy reach of the villa. You will find details all in the villa. Golfers will require a current handicap card to play on courses in Spain. A new course has opened near Orihuela.

Shopping for food can be fun, as Fortuna, the nearest town, has a Saturday general market with fresh vegetables etc. on sale each week. There are also several supermarkets in the town, plus a range of shops to cater for all your basic needs. All the shops are typically Spanish.

The coastal resorts can be reached in about 90 minutes and are well worth a day trip. especially recommended are Alicante, Santa Pola and Guadamar de Segura.

Cleaning and laundry are included in your rental rates and will be DEDUCTED from your invoice. Cleaning and laundry charges are €90 for up to 4 people and €115 for 6 people. We would appreciate it if you could pay these direct to the local agent before departure when you hand the keys back. Rates for stays of 3 weeks or more can be negotiated with the owners. We regret that we must ask for a returnable deposit of £200 for keys and damages. Also a 25% deposit is required, the balance to be paid 8 weeks before departure.
